1000FH10
General Description:
he UJLA 1000FH diesel filter is equipped with a see-through bowl and a 10-micron element. This turbine model boasts a maximum flow rate of 681 LPH and features a port size of 7/8″-14 UNF.
Replacement UJLA turbine elements from the 2020 series are available and come in various micron ratings, making them suitable for the Racor 1000FH. These Racor 2020 turbine elements measure 110mm in diameter and 249mm in height.
The UJLA 1000FH marine turbine is engineered for installation on the vacuum side of the fuel transfer pump, ensuring maximum efficiency. The Racor turbine filters operate through a three-stage process: Separation, Coalescing, and Filtration, as detailed below:
Key Features:
Stage One: Separation: As fuel enters the filter assembly, it passes through the turbine centrifuge, which spins off large solids and water droplets, directing them to the bottom of the collection bowl.
Stage Two: Coalescing: Smaller water droplets gather along the sides of the chamber and on the element. Once they become heavy enough, these droplets also fall into the collection bowl.
Stage Three: Filtration: The fuel is then filtered by the Aquabloc element, effectively removing algae, rust, and dirt. The waterproof nature of the Aquabloc elements makes them more efficient and longer-lasting compared to water-absorbing elements.
